Abstract: Abstract: I will discuss how to use a particle-physics approach to derive classical observables relevant to gravitational binaries. The tool used to link quantum and classical observables is the gravitational eikonal. As an example I will derive the eikonal for massive scalars (i.e. Schwarzschild black holes) up to the 3PM approximation and show how to obtain both conservative and radiative observables.
